Class of 1991 - 20 year reunion

Seaside High School Class of 1991:

Our 20-year reunion has fallen quite short of the original plan, and the events that were previously scheduled have had to be cancelled.  If you already registered and paid for the reunion, your money will be refunded or your check destroyed.  It is upsetting to those of us who have put time and money into organizing our reunion to have to make this announcement.  There was a division among our already small class which made it impossible for all to “reunite”.

We now have two options for the evening of Saturday July 23rd.  There will be an informal BBQ as posted on Facebook (contact April Hodgdon Olsen for details), and for those who have expressed an interest in attending the original dinner, there will still be an option to meet at the Sandtrap in Gearhart at 6pm.  Through a loophole in our contract, we were fortunate enough to avoid having to forfeit our $1500 deposit.  As a courtesy, we would like to still give them our business.  We will need a headcount beforehand, so please contact either myself or Melissa Schacher (Rose) if you are planning to attend.  I still feel a sense of responsibility in trying to bring everyone together, so I hope we can all meet up after the BBQ/dinner at the bonfire on the beach in Seaside.

It is likely that by the time our 30 year reunion comes around, we may combine efforts with another class or two.  My hope is to get feedback from you early on regarding the best options for all in an effort to keep everyone together.
